Spirit of Tasmania IV

Spirit of Tasmania IV is the first of the two LNG powered RORO passenger ferriers that will be delivered to replace older ships that are operating in the demanding route between Tasmania and mainland Australia. Whereas the older generation ships Spirit of Tasmania I and II were built by former Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Turku, Finland; the new generation ferries Spirit of Tasmania IV and V were built by Rauma Marine Constructions in Rauma, Finland – with Lautex metal ceilings.
