Ilkka Wessberg has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lautex Oy effective 1 July 2026 to lead the company’s next phase of profitable growth driven by the strong international shipbuilding market. He has served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 1 January 2026. Arvid Segercrantz, who previously served as CEO, will continue as Chairman of the Board.
Ilkka brings more than 25 years of experience in industry, technology, business development and international leadership. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for business growth, supply chain development, organizational transformation and the creation of new business models. Before joining Lautex, Ilkka held several leadership positions at ABB and later worked in a growth company focused on transport electrification.

Lautex aims to accelerate growth particularly in international shipbuilding export markets. While the company’s products and customer service meet the highest international standards, the company intends to further strengthen its brand, market awareness and presence in selected markets to support future growth.
Arvid Segercrantz will continue as the owner of the company through the parent company Teknoma Oy, while stepping down from day-to-day operational responsibilities.
